Originally taking up the trade with the intent of designing and building solid wood antique reproduction furniture, Jim realized there was a growing demand for quality storage solutions. Since his first home show in 1999 he’s been building closets and other storage spaces to suit the needs of their clients, builders and designers.

Designer Closets was founded with the highest regard for integrity, customer satisfaction and value. Since 1999 the employees of Designer Closets have provided customers with storage solutions for the whole house including the home office, garage, pantry, and basement storage.  

Jim’s 25-year background in custom furniture design and manufacturing has led him to design the best storage systems available today.  Unlike some competitors, Designer Closet’s system is floor based and is guaranteed for as long as you own your house.  All closets are manufactured locally with state of the art equipment and commercial grade material.  Each storage system is designed with your needs in mind and is built with furniture quality materials at an affordable price.
